It gives me great pleasure to present to the market, the traditional and spacious high-set home, proudly perched on a generous 625m2 block in a lovely, family friendly street ready to welcome its new owners.
If you are looking for a spacious property in a street within minutes of Kallangur State School and Joe Kruger Park; a house to make home in a street that enjoys a community spirit and with great potential and requiring some love then I welcome you home to 16 Lyndon Street, your Family Favourite.
Entering this property and you will appreciate the benefit of high-set living with the bonus of not only two car accommodation and laundry but also a huge, additional rumpus area which is currently serving as utility space and home office. The current owners even added a downstairs toilet to save making trips upstairs when playing in the yard or entertaining out back.
Head upstairs via the internal stairs into the lovely sized open plan air-conditioned lounge area which flows to a rear aspect dining area and kitchen. Double sliding doors lead out to the rear veranda being the ideal spot to kick back and enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the kids as they play in the huge yard.
Three great sized bedrooms with built in robes; all serviced by the main bathroom that boasts a bath, shower and separate toilet.
The yard is perfect for a kick about and offers significant space should you consider following in the neighbours footsteps by adding the swimming pool. The possibilities are endless in fact and for now the garden shed will house the yard tools and toys.
The location has the perfect balance for those who enjoy peace and quiet whilst being close to shops, schools and public transport. For the serious shoppers, Westfield North Lakes is within a five-minute drive and offers every conceivable retail outlet and dining option including, Ikea, Costco and Event Cinema to name a few.
This property is full of charm and potential and is being presented with the knowledge that she needs a little love to put the sparkle back. The potential for this property is exciting and with the Sunshine Coast University arriving in neighbouring Petrie, the scope for capital growth is real and likely.
“What the Owners say’’
We love the location and living so close to the school and shops. The huge backyard was important for us with kids and we were excited of the potential for renovations.
It’s a great friendly neighbourhood and whilst in the middle of suburbia, its amazing how quiet and peaceful it is. Morning coffees in the sun on the rear verandah whilst enjoying the cooling summer breeze are just perfect!
